The application form will only be available during the specific registration dates of the courses or examinations


Before commencing the registration process, please read the information provided and take special note of the required documents for each program or examination.

The registration process for the courses or examinations for the Modern Greek Language Teaching Centre take place by submitting the personal information and required documents in the interactive application form available on our website.

A. Personal information
  • Your name and surname must be filled in CAPITAL letters using the Latin alphabet and spelled exactly as in your passport/ID card.
  • The country of origin that is selected must be same as that of the country that has issued your passport/ID card.
  • It is essential that the email details filled in are correct and are verified when asked to do so, as all announcements and information is sent via email. It is the responsibility of each student to check emails regularly. The Modern Greek Language Teaching Centre bears no responsibility for any incident that may arise out of a student not noticing an announcement, or not receiving any information pertaining to the Modern Language Teaching Centre due to an incorrect email address.
  • For the duration of the course the Secretariat must be notified immediately of any change of personal details and/or the email address.
B. Program or Courses
  • Select the course you wish to attend. Confirmation of registration will be sent by email by the Secretariat after the submitted documents have been checked.
  • When your registration procedure is completed by the secretariat, you will receive a link to take part in the online placement test. Participation in the placement test is compulsory. You may only participate in the placement test once. The duration of the test is 100 minutes and consists of multiple choice questions and 1 essay. The multiple choice questions and the essays are answered electronically. For those who do not have a Greek keyboard, the essays may be written by hand and attached as jpg or pdf documents.
  • Should there be a problem with one of the documents or in case it is not possible for a class to be formed, you will be contacted via email by the Secretariat.
C. Examinations for the Certificate of Greek Language Knowledge
  • The right to take part in the examinations will be confirmed by an email sent by the Secretariat after the documents have been checked. Additional information concerning the number of the amphitheatre of the School of Philosophy where the written examinations will take place, the exact date, time and room number of the Modern Greek Language Teaching Centre for the oral examinations will also be sent.
D. Submitting your documents
  • The documents that must be submitted are explained in detail in the information provided for each course.
  • All documents (except for the photo) must be in pdf format.
  • The photo must be passport size, coloured and submitted in jpg format.
  • If your High School Diploma/degree has not been certified/translated yet, please contact the Modern Greek Language Teaching Centre.
